Built from grit.
Tailored for the world.
JR Garments was born of perseverance. Our founder, Mr. P. Jayaraman, lost his father early, left school to support his family, and began by stitching buttons. He learned tailoring, faced betrayals and setbacks, and still chose to rebuild—again and again. In 1987, with just 12 machines in Bengaluru, he started JR Garments. Today, we are a trusted exporter of woven apparel from Tamil Nadu—grounded in craftsmanship, reliability, and respect for people.
Our story in brief
From a single room in Bengaluru to a modern facility in Tamil Nadu, our journey has always centered on craftsmanship and character. We’ve grown by keeping promises—on quality, timelines, and transparent communication—so that buyers can plan seasons with confidence.
We’ve also stayed rooted in our community. By training and employing local talent—especially women, we help sustain 400+ families. When we upgrade a line or launch a new buyer program, we think first about people: safety, comfort, and long-term growth.
